Interview with Lauren of Petite in Pearls

Meet Lauren!  She's the absolutely darling blogger behind the wonderful blog, Petite in Pearls.

Lauren was so sweet to answer a few questions about her style, inspiration, and New England lifestyle!

1.  What is your favorite thing in your closet?

My favorite thing in my closet is probably my vintage leather jacket.  I got it at a little vintage shop on Bleeker Street, it has so much character and is different from any of the leather jackets I see in stores right now.

2.  What's your favorite season to dress for?

Definitely the fall.  I love layers and rich colors.

3.  Who is your style icon?

This is a hard one!  I would say Kate Middleton meets Sienna Miller meet Miranda Kerr.

4.  Define your style in three words.

Simple, classic, easy.

5.  What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?

J. Crew, Francesca's, Revolve Clothing... I mostly shop at little boutique-like places.

6.  Where's your favorite spot to relax in New England?

Probably Bash Bish Falls, which is the largest waterfall in Massachusetts.  It's a beautiful state park and I love to take my dog and go for a little hike and just watch the waterfall for a bit.  Plus, there are tons of antique stores and really good restaurants on the way there and back!

7.  What was the best part about starting Petite in Pearls?

I would say there are two best parts.  One, is sharing my love and appreciation for where I live.  The second is all the lovely people I've gotten to meet since I started the blog!
