Orange Grove Blossoms

Dress: H&M Conscious (similar)     Jacket: Old Navy    Bag: 88     Sunglasses: Stella McCartney     Shoes: BP    Bracelets: Vintage

I'm back!  For the past week, I've taken a little unplanned blogging break.  The main reason?  I just wasn't feeling it.  I also didn't have a lot of content to post, so I took the week off and just relaxed on my social media and blog... and it was really nice.  Sometimes I stop thinking of this blog as the fun creative outlet that it is and I let it stress me out, and that's when it's good to step back.  Don't get me wrong, I love LMHC and I am so grateful to have a platform to share the vegan message I'm so passionate about.  My week long blog break was much-needed, but I'm happy to be back in the swing of things!

I've been really loving maxi dresses lately!  It's a little harder to find petite-friendly options that need little to no alterations, but one of my favorite tricks is tucking a few inches of the skirt under the waist seam and pinning it in place, which is what I did here.  This breezy H&M Conscious number features a fun botanical floral print, and you all know how much I love sustainable style.

  12. Julia, I'm glad you took and break and returned! Every now and then we all need a break - especially since social media is like 24/7. I love your blog, and your voice. Learning about your vegan lifestyle was an important one and I cannot wait to learn more!! On a different note, you look beautiful! Love the dress, babe!

    Happy Monday, love!

  15. I love maxi dresses with jean jackets. I can't say I've ever worn them while walking among orange trees, but I will put that on my to-do list! I think a trip to California is in order!
