I've been obsessed with Self Portrait's intricate guipure lace designs, but the Azalea dress was the apple of my eye.  I finally bought this bright ruby red dress, which is currently available in a darker burgundy red for winter.  I love this look for NYE, especially paired with my favorite red lipstick by Tarte Cosmetics.

I added on my Lauren Conrad floral heels, that I wear all too often here on LMHC, and my new favorite party bag, the 'Allie' by 88 Handbags.  I'm in love with the gold star and celestial accents all over the pristine smooth vegan leather.  I forgot to get some shots of my manicure, but you can see it a little bit in the bag pictures: I went simple and topped my regular nude color with some gold glitter mixed with topcoat.

Dear Santa, I Can Explain...

This outfit is coming a few days after Christmas, but I still wanted to share it because I feel like the sentiment on the sweater still rings true.  You know those days between Christmas and New Years where you can't be bothered to do anything?  Yep, that's what this sweater is for.  Today's outfit is a holiday outfit with Boohoo.  They asked me to share both a glam holiday look and a cheekier, casual one featuring a holiday sweater.  I wore this black sweatshirt to a Christmas get-together with friends and it's such a fun little statement piece.

Let's get through this last week of 2016 together- do something productive!  Work out, take a spa day, read a new book!  As for me, I'm going shopping (after Christmas sales, here I come).  But I think by general consensus we are all ready for this year to be over.  Hope you all had a very happy Christmas/Hanukkah/holiday!

Today I'm so happy to be sharing a holiday party look. This dress is from Boohoo, a UK based retailer.  Their collection is always up to date on the latest trends and I was so excited when they asked me to feature some holiday outfits on LMHC.  Velvet has been super on-trend lately, and I'm in love with this off-shoulder velvet Petite Jules dress that comes with a coordinating choker.  Best of all, it's only $30!  This dress is so pretty for the holiday season and the rest of winter.

I'm also sporting my Allie vegan convertible bag by 88.  The star-studded flap can be interchanged with a smooth tan vegan leather one to transition between day and night.  This bag will be worn on repeat for this holiday season!

Leave it to me to make my post title for this outfit into a Star Wars reference.  I went to go see Rogue One in theaters this week and I was not disappointed.  I make a habit of getting way too emotionally attached to fictional characters, especially in Star Wars movies.  To sum up the movie without spoilers, I'll just say that it was bittersweet.  But overall, the movie was amazing and it's a must see if you loved The Force Awakens.  

This stardust cardigan from LOFT is embellished with pearls and crystals on a grey cotton knit, and I couldn't resist pairing it with some extra sparkle in the form of this collared Ted Baker sweater from last year.  I know I wore this skirt in the last outfit post, but I just love it and I've been wearing it non-stop.

Madewell Station Knit + Green Tartan Plaid

This has got to be one of my favorite outfits that we've shot for the blog (however, stay tuned for a roundup of my favorite outfits of 2016, coming soon!)  This sweater is a cotton knit by Madewell, called the Station Pullover.  I love thick, chunky cotton knits during winter, especially in white or ivory.  I paired my sweater with this green plaid skirt from Urban Outfitters.  I also added on this Marc Jacobs navy trench that I scored on Poshmark, and I love the slightly nautical vibe it gives to the outfit.

I'm also sporting some fun vegan accessories that I recently received and I've been loving.  This bag is by 88 Handbags, a company I've worked with frequently here on LMHC and that I adore.  I'm carrying their new Allie convertible bag, which comes in three different color/prints.  Basically, the flap is detachable and you can interchange it with another one to transition from day to night (I'm using the tan "day" flap here).

My watch is from VOTCH, an all-vegan watch company that crafts beautiful vegan leather watches.  I'm wearing the blush pink and gold watch, and can I just say, I'm in love.  I'm not normally a huge watch-wearer, but their watches have such a clean aesthetic and gorgeous finishes, and I've been pairing my new watch with everything.  They're based in London, just like Wills Vegan Shoes, my favorite footwear brand.  These Block Heels are my favorite pair of shoes and if you've been following LMHC for a while, you know that I wear these all the time.
