I'm sorry for the weeklong hiatus of posting! It's been quite a crazy week, and an eventful one at that. First things first: it's my birthday! I'm celebrating tonight with my friends for a relaxed spa night in, which is much needed after these past few weeks. And I'm gifting myself by treating myself to way too many new makeup items from Sephora.
This outfit is serving up some serious 1960's vibes. I found this blush pink Juliette Corduroy velvety mini skirt at the Brandy Melville section in Nordstrom, and slightly embarrassing fact: this was the only one left, and I had to undress a mannequin to get it. Have any of you every undressed a mannequin to get the last item? I really hope it's not just me.
Anyways, I've always been wary of trying out Brandy Melville clothes because they are one size, and as someone who is particularly petite, I wasn't sure if they would work out for me. As it turns out, their skirts are just fine for me with a belt, and I love the way their tops fit on me! I'll definitely be shopping them more in the future, because I truly love what they have to offer- pure California girl aesthetics.
I had to stick to a pink color palette with this outfit, so I added 3(!) more pink accessories to tie the look together- my Anthropologie Pascala Vegan Mini Bag, which I bought a little over a year ago when I first went vegan! I also added my blush vegan watch from VOTCH London, and these blush retro sunglasses by BP. And then to solidify the 60's theme, I had to add my favorite shoes ever, the Wills London vegan block heels.
I love those sunglasses! They go perfectly with your skirt!
