Dress (worn as skirt): Anthropologie {last seen here} // Sweater: Madewell {similar} // Shoes: Lulu's // Bag: Celine 'Nano' dupe by Dailylook // Lips: Tarte 'Bae' // Bracelets: Swarovski bracelet and lariat bracelet

One of my most popular posts last year was this outfit wearing the Byron Lars "Carissima" lace sheath from Anthropologie.  I love that dress- it's so unique and classic, but like most cocktail/formal dresses, there's not really much you can do to style it in different ways.  For some reason I got the idea to layer on a cozy, loose sweater over the skirt.  This Madewell funnel-neck cotton sweater is so comfy and I loved the more relaxed vibe it brought to the outfit {mine is old but I linked a similar option above}.  I also added on these black vegan suede bow heels from Lulu's!

I'm so ready for the weekend- this week is dragging by and the only thing that's getting me through it is tea and the promise of a relaxing weekend.  No major plans- just going out with my best friend tomorrow night to go see Get Out (let me know if anyone's seen it!) and catching up on some work for the rest of the weekend.  Do you have any plans?

  1. That lace Anthropologie dress is beautiful - I love the way you styled it with the Madewell funnel-neck sweater. Your hair looks beautiful and I love the colour of your lipstick - it's a beautiful look.
