The holidays are right around the corner, and I've finally finished shopping for my family's and friends' gifts. Last year it was down to the wire for me- I was scrambling around up until Christmas Eve to acquire and wrap everyone's presents on time!
Buying the gifts themselves can be pretty stressful for me, but wrapping them is one of the highlights of the process. I love coming up with fun and creative ways to wrap my presents each year. Today I'm sharing 3 special ways that I'm packaging up my gifts this year!
#1- Rustic Rose
This rose wrapping paper has been my go-to this year. The color palette is more simple, which I love. Instead of ribbon, I cut a thin strip of recycled brown paper to make a makeshift band, then I made a paper rose to add a pretty detail. To make the rose, just cut out a circle from the brown paper and pinch it in the center, crimping it into a ruffly flower shape. I cut out a tag from the brown recycled paper and wrote up a simple little tag as well.
This wrapping is elegant, minimalistic, and very easy, as well as more eco-friendly! Use a recycled wrapping paper as well for an even greener gift.
#2- Monogrammed with a J
I designed these custom stickers with StickerApp, and I love using them on my holiday gifts! StickerApp's design tool makes your stickers easily customizable, so I uploaded a background and my initial to make a monogrammed sticker. I've been sticking them everywhere (like my laptop), but they were a huge part of my holiday gifts and Christmas cards this year.
What I love about using monograms on gifts is that they are easily distinguishable under the tree. You don't even have to write who it's from on the label! On this gift, I just added my sticker and a simple ribbon to my polka dot wrapping paper.
#3- Red and Green + Rosemary
This is a classic color combination for Christmas, and looks so festive! I just used green twine with my red and white wrapping paper, and my DIY gift tag cut from brown recycled paper. For decoration, I added two sprigs of rosemary. You can also use holly sprigs, pine, or any green herb. As an added bonus, the gift smells amazing from the rosemary.
Happy Holiday season! How are your wrapping your gifts this year, and what was your favorite wrapping of the ones above?
P.S. The plaid blanket I'm sitting on is actually a blanket scarf from Marley Lilly. It's free with an $100+ purchase until Sunday, and it comes in three colors!

Oh wow, you are an incredible gift wrapper! Mine always look really, really terrible haha. Something about the folding of the corners just doesn't work for me. I love the wrapping paper you chose too!
