1 ~ Yoga
Any kind of yoga calms me down and makes me feel relaxed, and I love that I can do it pretty much anywhere. It's perfect for when I'm stressed out, or even simply bored.
The best and most basic way to work a little yoga into your life is to learn the basic sun salutation, then adapt it to your comfort zone.
I love trying out different superfoods, and most of the time, I end up liking them! There's some common superfoods that you've probably been eating your whole life (ie. sweet potatoes and spinach), but I also love trying out new and trendy superfoods. My latest favorites include maca, acai, matcha, and turmeric.
One of my favorite ways to get superfoods is through smoothies or juices. Temple Turmeric makes amazing juices packed with superfoods, vitamins, and nutrients. Their green juice, the "Mineral Greens" blend, is one of the most popular blends. The more I drank it, the more the flavor grew on me. I definitely prefer it over Pressed Juicery's greens!
I also love their Super Lights line, which has my favorite, the Hibiscus Berry-Ade! They have so many delicious blends of superfood juices that are all must-trys.
3 ~ Water
Pure, clean water is pretty much the best thing you can do for yourself. I don't pressure myself to get a certain amount of water daily, but I'll always take a drink of ice water before bed. Water flushes toxins out of the body and keeps you and your brain hydrated. I find that I don't get headaches when I'm hydrated enough.
If you can't stand plain water, infused water is great too! I love throwing a few lemon slices in my water for acid, or some mint leaves.
