Tea Time

This Saturday was my girl's day.  I met up with my best friend and my sister for English tea at a lovely cafe, Paris in a Cup.  The Paris-themed tea house served decadent French macarons and delicious chocolate mousse cake.  They also had a huge array of teas to choose from.  We ended up settling on oolong green tea and chocolate black tea.  The tea came with a bunch of delicious little pastries and savory bites, along with the best crème fraîche I have ever had.
For tea, I wore the same Kimchi Blue dress in New Year's Eve Sparkle, paired with a pair of black velvet Tory Burch flats.  I simply love my new Cotton On belt, which I looped into a knot.

After tea, my sister and I went out for Japanese cuisine and a night out.  I wore a black Ruby and Bloom dress with a drop waist and feathered fringe.  The look was inspired by the flapper outfits from the 20's.  I still think that the 1920's is my favorite fashion era.  Glamorous flappers, glitzy parties.

Friday Night Lights

A Night By The Ferris Wheel
Shoes: Tory Burch   Ring (blue): Coach  Bag: Coach   Sweater: H&M   Jeans: Aeropostale

The mall was beautifully lit with strings of lights, and so was the Ferris Wheel.  It changed colors in the night air.  It was a simply gorgeous sight.

Up and Away!

Jetting Back Home
Ambience for Forever 21 coat
7 for all Mankind Jeans
Anne Klein boots
LeSportsac bag
I'm going to miss Hawaii a lot.  But I missed home too.  Last night I flew back from Hawaii and we landed this morning.  It's so good to be back.
At the airport, I wore a soft grey coat (which doubled as a pillow on the flight).  I also donned my new 7 For All Mankind jeans, courtesy of the Neiman Marcus store in Hawaii.  I can't go anywhere without my favorite Anne Klein boots.  They go with everything and have a little heel, which I definitely need (I'm five feet tall).  Underneath the coat?  The comfiest thing I could find: a yoga tee from Lululemon Athletica.
This is the first post of 2014!  Thanks for reading and hope you have a wonderful winter.  Happy New Year!
