Flatbread Nachos {Flatout Recipe}

{This post is part of my Flatout Recipe Collection.}
NACHOS.  It's easy.  First you toast up your own flatbread "tortilla" chips, then you load on the goodies, like beans, cheese, tomatoes, peppers, and whatever else your heart desires.

You can go crazy with the toppings, too.  I won't judge.  :-)

Flatbread Nachos
serves 1

1/3 cup refried beans
1/2 tbsp hot sauce
2 tbsp water
1/4 cup diced bell peppers
1/2 tomato, diced
1/4 cup cheese shreds or queso
2 tbsp whole beans

Toppings to add on:
avocado or guacamole
sour cream
jicama
jalapenos or habaneros
salsa
pico de gallo
corn
sriracha

Preheat your oven to 350 F.  Slice the flatbread into chips.  Bake the flatbread chips until they are hard, like tortilla chips.  Pull them out after about 10 minutes.  The chips should be lightly crispy.  Mix the beans with the hot sauce and water, then pour and spread on the chips.  Sprinkle the cheese over the beans and bake again until the cheese is melty, about 10 more minutes.  Re-baking them is crucial- it keeps them from going soggy.  Take them out of the oven and top with the pepper, tomato, an whole beans.

I use:
-Follow Your Heart Vegan Fiesta Shreds
-Flatout Light Original
-Trader Joe's Refried Black Beans
-Taco Bell Mild Hot Sauce
