Feather Fringe & Foliage

Coat: H&M     Dress: (similar)    Scarf: WORN ℅  Shoes: Kate Spade    Sunglasses: Polette  (similar)

Today I'm incredibly honored to be sharing not only a holiday party outfit, but also an amazing brand with an amazing mission.  This Foxtrot Scarf from WORN is beautifully made faux fur melded with soft crochet, but it's the story behind it that makes this piece so special.

"WORN is a socially-conscious business of Catholic Charities Fort Worth. Our mission is to provide refugee women living in the United States a supplemental source of income, empowering them to rise above poverty. All products are hand-knit in the USA by women who have survived the afflictions of their war-torn and poverty-stricken homelands."

The entire WORN line is absolutely gorgeous and I highly encourage you to check it out.  This scarf that I received is beautifully crafted, warm, and perfect for the season.  You can read more about their movement here.  Their products would make the most amazing gifts, since they have a tag that tells the recipient about WORN's campaign, and to visit their website at www.wornforpeace.com.  This is a cause very close to my heart.

Thank you to the wonderful team at WORN for collaborating on this post!

Pumpkins and Pearls

Dress:  Ruby and Bloom (similar)   Rings: Tiffany's

Audrey Hepburn, of course!  I was excited to dress up this year as the lovely Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's!   All you need are a few classic pieces, which I already had in my closet!  Of course, Holly's outfit wouldn't be complete without her poor nameless cat.  I would have featured my  real little orange kitty, but he was squirming and didn't want to be photographed!
But here's my other orange kitty: this pumpkin!  Isn't it adorable?  It's a tuxedo kitty, made of a petite pumpkin, a larger pumpkin, some buttons, ribbon, wire, and paper!  So cute!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

My Pink Polo Pony

Pin: Ralph Lauren    Belt: Ann Taylor (similar)    Dress: Forever 21   Shoes: Tory Burch
 Bag: Kate Spade     Necklace: Francesca's

I love the Pink Pony Pin from Ralph Lauren.  $4 of the proceeds from each pin go to the Pink Pony Fund of Polo Ralph Lauren, which supports initiatives for cancer care and prevention.  It's such a cute little pin, and it's for a great cause!

Loops, Lace, and a Little Black Dress

Dress: eShakti ℅    Shoes: Tory Burch    Bangle: Henri Bendel (similar)
 Rings: Kate Spade, Tiffany

I always end up falling for a little black dress.  I love the Anastasia dress, with its flared skirt and the intricate loop neckline.  This dress was custom tailored to fit me, and eShakti offers numerous customization options for anyone's taste.  I just entered my measurements and the dress came fitting beautifully.  Simple or special, a classic piece never gets old, and I look forward to wearing this dress often!

Until 10-17-14, my readers can enter the coupon code 'littlemisshautecouture' for 10% off when you shop at eShakti.

Back to Black

Palate Cleanser - Champagne Sorbet
Crème Brûlée and Berry Compote for four
Dress: Ruby & Bloom   Shoes: Longchamp   Ring: Tiffany's   Pearls: Vintage

Back to the Queen Mary!  I was here for tea just two weeks ago, and it was so nice to explore the lovely boat and all its stories.  Dinner at Sir Winston's restaurant was definitely the best meal I'd had all week (the champagne sorbet was THE BEST).  The early fall beauty of Long Beach is almost unbelievable, and it's just so nice to be there.

Tea Time

This Saturday was my girl's day.  I met up with my best friend and my sister for English tea at a lovely cafe, Paris in a Cup.  The Paris-themed tea house served decadent French macarons and delicious chocolate mousse cake.  They also had a huge array of teas to choose from.  We ended up settling on oolong green tea and chocolate black tea.  The tea came with a bunch of delicious little pastries and savory bites, along with the best crème fraîche I have ever had.
For tea, I wore the same Kimchi Blue dress in New Year's Eve Sparkle, paired with a pair of black velvet Tory Burch flats.  I simply love my new Cotton On belt, which I looped into a knot.

After tea, my sister and I went out for Japanese cuisine and a night out.  I wore a black Ruby and Bloom dress with a drop waist and feathered fringe.  The look was inspired by the flapper outfits from the 20's.  I still think that the 1920's is my favorite fashion era.  Glamorous flappers, glitzy parties.
